About the Role
Freedom Mobile is seeking a Network Construction Lead to support our network deployment projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong field experience and a civil engineering background who can manage contractors and consultants effectively and ensure smooth execution of construction activities. You will play a critical role in reviewing and validating design specifications, ensuring compliance with CSA standards, and collaborating with engineering firms, construction managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality telecom infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate site construction activities for telecom infrastructure projects
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, engineering firms, and internal teams
• Review and interpret telecom drawings, SC6 documentation, and design specifications
• Collaborate on design solutions and ensure alignment with project requirements
• coordinate site inspections to monitor progress and verify compliance with CSA standards and safety regulations
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports using project management tools and Excel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecom construction
• Civil engineering education.
• Strong understanding of telecom drawings and SC6 standards
• Proven ability to manage contractors and consultants
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Familiarity with project management platforms
• Field experience is an asset.
